I remember that during 2018 I traveled to Puerto Varas, a
place in the south of Chile, to get away from Santiago and all the noise and
annoyances that characterize it, we went for about a week to a large cabin
located near a huge forest, and it was one of the best vacations I've ever had.
I traveled with my father and brother, plus other family
members, we went by car, so the fact of looking out the window revived you
completely, as you could see how the city was disappearing, and nature began to
appear everywhere, while at night, you could see the starry sky and the
darkness characteristic of the countryside.
When we got there, we went to visit several places, among
them: a beach near a majestic volcano, hot springs, forests, etc. Our
activities consisted of exploring new places and new foods.
I feel that it was one of my best vacations because being so
close to nature helped me to clear my mind and find a peculiar beauty in the
green color and the icy rivers.
